This Maradona rain jacket became especially famous because of Diego Maradona’s iconic warm-up during the UEFA Cup semi-final in 1989 between Bayern Munich and Napoli. During the warm-up, Maradona was juggling a football to the song Live Is Life by Opus. The cameras focused on Maradona as he kept the ball in the air, and the images were shown on the big screen.

The body of the Napoli rain jacket is blue, while the sleeves are dark blue. The right chest features the Napoli logo with the club name underneath. The left chest shows the name of kit supplier ENNERRE, with main sponsor MARS displayed below it. The MARS logo is also printed large on the back of the jacket. In addition, the Napoli Maradona Warm-Up rain jacket is equipped with two zippered side pockets. The jacket also features a hood that can be adjusted with drawstrings. The hood can be stored in the collar, which includes a zippered compartment. A true collector’s item for the real football fan!

This Napoli rain jacket was worn by the players of the Italian football club during the 1988/89 season. In the 1988–1989 season, Napoli won the UEFA Cup by defeating Stuttgart in the final. However, the jacket became world-famous thanks to Diego Maradona’s warm-up during the semi-final against FC Bayern in Munich.
